Allison and Will followed me in the car so that we could attend my High School reunion, and then she’d return home and I travel on for my 2012 motorcycle adventure, which, honestly for the past several years, turned into a fly-by-the-seat-of-my pants submission to come-what-may.
After traveling 15 miles, I realized I’d forgotten my passport, and so turned back to retrieve it. We made it to Charlotte at 5:00pm where we stopped at the BMW dealership to get the rest of the things I needed to finish prepping my bike for the trip.
The rest of the trip was uneventful and we arrived happily at my parents around 11:00pm.
