Radix

A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.

O ROOT OF JESSE, who stands as a signal to the people, before whom kings shall keep silence and unto whom the Gentiles shall make supplication: come to deliver us, and do not delay.
