The Pathway to Spring

For a color-blind guy, October is blessed by Maples and Beeches. The Beech leaves hang on longer than Maples. I sat for hours and hours on countless occasions under the rustly beech trees throughout the Octobers of my youth with a silent shotgun across my lap. The Autumn hue of the beech against the October blue sky is as nostalgic to me as a childhood aroma. The years have taught me that though the leaves are falling and all seems to be dying, Winter is the only path to Spring. All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well.
